Financial services

The purpose of UIA's Financial Services Commission (FSC) is to deal with all issues concerning financial services as well as financial products.

Its proceedings enable its member lawyers from different countries and legal systems to exchange experiences, in particular with regard to:

- Regulation and supervision in financial matters
- Cross-border trade in financial products and services
- The status, obligations and responsibilities of financial intermediaries
- The functioning of financial markets, whether or not regulated.

It meets at least once a year during the UIA Annual Congress and organises seminars in collaboration on cross-cutting subjects with other commissions.
