Intellectual property
The Intellectual Property Commission, as a result of the recent merger with the former Entertainment Commission and Copyright Sub-Commission, intends to cover all aspects of intellectual property (trademarks, patents and copyright, but also geographical indications, appellations of origin, industrial design, utility models, semi-conductor topographies, confidential company information and new plant varieties).
It contributes to UIA life through its participation in congressional main themes and the organization of specific sessions and seminars through the year, alone and in cooperation with other UIA Commissions with which experiences are shared on a regular basis.
It gathers lawyers from all jurisdictions and promotes professional exchanges in all the UIA official languages.
